Nicole Maddocks

Nicole was called to the Bar in 2021 and accepts briefs in all areas of law, with a particular interest in commercial disputes, regulatory proceedings and administrative law. She has a broad practice, and regularly appears led and unled in a range of courts and tribunals.

Before coming to the Bar, Nicole practised as a solicitor for 7 years at Sparke Helmore and DLA Piper.  During her time as a solicitor at Sparke Helmore, Nicole had regular conduct of complex commercial litigation and dispute matters (including corporations law proceedings, competition and consumer law claims and regulatory actions). Nicole otherwise has extensive experience in administrative law from her time as a solicitor at DLA Piper.

Nicole holds a Master of Laws from the University of Sydney and was the recipient of the Judge Samuel Redshaw Prize for Administrative Law in 2023.
