Nicholas practises in the areas of professional liability, insurance, building and construction, strata liability, and commercial disputes.
Prior to coming to the Bar, Nicholas was a Senior Associate at leading insurance focused firms, where he developed an extensive practice acting for insurers, professionals, and commercial clients in complex litigation. He has substantial experience in professional negligence claims, construction disputes, and insurance coverage matters, with particular expertise in claims involving certifiers.
Nicholas regularly appears in the Supreme Court of New South Wales and has considerable experience in all aspects of dispute resolution, including trials, mediations and other forms of alternative dispute resolution. He also advises insurers on professional indemnity, environmental liability, and strata liability policies.
