Junioring for Bret Walker AO SC and James Mack, Thomas Bagley acted for the successful appellant in class action proceedings on behalf of South Korean group members in Kim v Wang [2023] FCAFC 115. By majority, the Full Federal Court accepted that the respondent individual was accessorily liable for misleading representations made by two companies that certain financial product investments were legitimate and regulated by ASIC.
